Gokyo Ri is a spectacular lesser peak in the Khumbu region and the nine-day-round trip from Namche Bazaar to Gokyo-Ri and back is often done by avid adventure trekkers having ample time and energy. It is a prefect setting against the backdrop of green pine trees and Sherpa villages which offers entirely different and of-course breathtaking views of Everest and other tall and smaller peaks in the Khumbu region.
