Landruk is another unique and predominantly Gurung village, famous for its cultural richness and its astounding natural setting. Perched on a hill adjacent to Ghandruk and on the other side of the Modi River, Landruk continues to attract tourists from around the world. At 1,646 meters, Landruk is also a famous vista, overlooking the surrounding villages, Pokhara Valley and the Annapurna region.

The villages lie within Annapurna Conservation Area, the project established to manage the area and help local communities to better preserve the area. To reduce the villager's dependency on wood and forest products, alternative energy development program's such as micro hydro and solar electrification have been launched. The love and dedication shown by the community towards eco-tourism makes the area all the more special.
